The scouting movement was founded by Sir Robert Baden-Powell in 1907 with 21 boys camping on Brown Sea Island - it now has over 26 million members world wide.

 

1st Hunters Hill Scouts was established in 1915 to provide scouting to the Hunters Hill area. Located in Durham St we run a varied program designed to build self-respect, confidence, leadership and teamwork through fun and adventurous activities.

1st Hunters Hill has incredible facilitaties to encourage and instill the ethos of Scouting:

• Windeyer Hall, 1 Durham Street, Hunters Hill

• In summer the kids enjoy our boatshed in Woolich whilst

• Camp Windeyer - camping trips are regulary taken to enjoy the generously donated 10 acres at Still Creek, Galston.
